ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday marked what it described as a victory in the “Marka-e-Haq” operation, launched in response to India’s “policy-driven false flag operation” in May 2025.
A ceremony was held in the federal capital where a book titled “The Battle of Truth” was launched.
The event, held to commemorate the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, was attended by both civil and military leadership. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar represented the civilian side, while Lieutenant General Aamer Riaz, HI(M) (Retd), and other officials attended from the military.
Speakers at the event presented a comprehensive overview of the operation carried out in response to what Pakistan termed India’s false flag action.
The speakers emphasised Pakistan’s resilience during Indian strikes, adding that the operation enhanced the country’s diplomatic and military standing on the international stage, according to the defence minister.
Retired Lt Gen Aamer Riaz also referred to the alleged false flag operation, saying that “India’s defeat in Marka-e-Haq was fair and square.”
