GILGIT: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) of Gilgit-Baltistan has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against two police inspectors and a sub-inspector, following allegations of misappropriation of aid provided by China during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.
The aid, intended for the Gilgit-Baltistan police and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), included essential supplies and equipment aimed at bolstering efforts during the public health crisis.

Further investigations are underway to determine the extent of the alleged embezzlement.
