Three security personnel martyred in DI Khan suicide attack

DI KHAN: In a shocking incident, three security officials lost their lives, and 16 others sustained injuries in a heinous suicide attack and firing at Darbin police station in Dera Ismail Khan.

The assailants carried out their sinister plan by ramming an explosive-laden vehicle into the main gate of the police station. As a result, three valiant policemen, including Hawaldar Riasat and Sepoy Zulfiqar, made the ultimate sacrifice, embracing martyrdom in the line of duty.

The terrorists, undeterred by the initial attack, attempted to breach the police station by opening fire. In the ensuing exchange, three terrorists were neutralized in swift and courageous response from the security forces.

The injured have been swiftly transported to DI Khan hospital for medical attention and care.

Meanwhile, Tehsil Darbin finds itself under complete lockdown as security forces take necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of the area.

Schools have been closed and the papers have been cancelled in the Tehsil.
