Timothée Chalamet has responded to growing online rumours suggesting he is secretly behind the UK rapper EsDeeKid.

The actor, who is currently in London promoting his upcoming film Marty Supreme, was questioned about the speculation during a radio appearance with Heart on Thursday, December 11. Chalamet was photographed heading to the interview wearing merchandise linked to the film.

EsDeeKid has recently gained attention on social media, with tracks such as “LV Sandals”, “Phantom” and “4 Raws” becoming popular on TikTok. The rapper’s anonymity, combined with the sudden rise in popularity, has led some fans to speculate that the artist could be Chalamet operating under a pseudonym.

When asked directly about the rumours, Chalamet initially declined to comment. He then added a brief but cryptic response, saying he had “two words” on the subject. After pausing, he continued by saying, “All will be revealed in due time.”

The remark has only fuelled further speculation online, with fans debating whether the statement was a playful dismissal or a deliberate tease. Chalamet has not previously been linked to EsDeeKid, and there is no confirmed evidence connecting the actor to the rapper’s music.

The speculation echoes previous fan theories linking other actors to anonymous music projects, including recent rumours around KJ Apa and a possible alter ego.

Chalamet is currently touring Europe as part of the promotional campaign for Marty Supreme, which is set for release next year. The actor has become known for generating online buzz during press tours, often leaning into internet culture and fan theories without fully addressing them.

For now, the identity of EsDeeKid remains unconfirmed, with Chalamet’s response doing little to put the rumours to rest.
