Transport restrictions lifted in Islamabad, as city returns to normal operations

ISLAMABAD: The district administration of Islamabad has lifted restrictions on all types of transport in the capital, allowing both public and goods vehicles to enter the city.

According to officials, all major bus terminals across Islamabad have been reopened, except for the Faizabad bus terminal, which will remain closed until further notice.

Transport operations in the city are now gradually returning to normal.

The administration said the decision was taken to facilitate citizens and ease daily commuting challenges, restoring travel convenience across the federal capital.

The development came after the Iranian leadership who were expected to give a node of their meeting with the US officials in the Islamabad Talks Phase-II left Islamabad in the evening on Saturday.
