RAWALPINDI: In the second match of the tri-nation series, Zimbabwe has set a target of 163 runs for Sri Lanka to chase.
At Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Zimbabwe batted first and scored 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Brian Bennett played a brilliant innings of 49 runs, including 5 fours and a six.
Captain Sikandar Raza also contributed a solid 47 runs with 3 fours and 2 sixes, helping push the team’s total forward.
Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga took 3 wickets for 32 runs, while Ishan Malinga claimed 2 wickets. Dhananjaya de Silva and Mahesh Theekshana took one wicket each.
Earlier, Sri Lanka had won the toss and opted to field first against Zimbabwe.
