Two solider martyred in gun battle with terrorists in North Waziristan district: ISPR


ISLAMABAD: Two soldiers were martyred during a fire exchange that took place between Pakistan’s troops and terrorists in the general area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District.

According to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location resulting in one terrorist being killed.

During a fierce firefight, solider Abdullah (25 years old, resident of Mardan) and soldier Muhammad Sohail (19 years old, resident of Tharparkar) fought bravely and tragically embraced martyrdom.

“Sanitization of the surrounding areas is being carried out to neutralize any terrorists found in the area,” the statement issued by ISPR read.

The security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
