WEB DESK: The United Arab Emirates has lifted restrictions on its citizens travelling to Lebanon, allowing trips to resume with immediate effect from Monday.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the decision on 29 June 2026, permitting Emirati nationals to visit the country under specific safety conditions, according to Al Jazeera.
The move comes amid efforts to strengthen bilateral ties following periods of regional tension that had prompted temporary travel curbs.

Travellers must register their details with the ministry’s Twajudi emergency response service before departure. The platform requires information such as intended address in Lebanon, purpose of travel, and emergency contacts. Failure to complete registration will prevent departure from UAE airports and may result in legal consequences.
Authorities have emphasised that the measure is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of UAE nationals abroad.
Those already in Lebanon or planning trips via third countries are also required to comply with the registration process and update their information as needed.

The latest decision follows a travel ban imposed in April 2026 due to security concerns linked to regional developments. The ministry continues to urge citizens to exercise caution and follow all official advisories while
