According to Google, the precipitation is anticipated to start around 8 AM, while AccuWeather, another prominent weather forecast platform, predicts rain around 8:15 AM.

It is essential to highlight that this rainfall has been eagerly awaited by the citizens to alleviate the persisting poor air quality in the federal capital.

While it may bring relief to some and contribute to reducing air pollution, it could pose challenges for commuters, especially bikers, on poorly drained roads, which might accumulate water after heavy rain.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy that a recent hailstorm surprised the residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, with snow falling in multiple areas of Rawalpindi on Wednesday, accompanied by heavy rain in the twin cities.

Netizens took to social media to share pictures of the snow-covered roads in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Many were astonished and found it hard to believe that snowfall could occur in Rawalpindi, as it is a rare phenomenon in the twin cities.
