Why Atif Aslam’s Dhaka concert cancelled

DHAKA: Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s concert that was scheduled for December 13 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, has been cancelled at the last moment.

In a statement issued on social media, Atif Aslam confirmed the development, saying, “We regret to announce that we will not be performing at the concert scheduled for 13 December 2025 in Dhaka.”

According to the singer, the event organizers and management failed to secure the required permissions, security clearance and logistical arrangements from local authorities, which made his participation impossible.

Fans of Atif Aslam, who were eagerly looking forward to the event, have expressed disappointment over the sudden cancellation. There is still no information on whether the concert will be rescheduled.
