Winter is here: Mercury drops to 10 degree celsius in Quetta

QUETTA: Cold winds swept through Quetta and other parts of Balochistan on Sunday morning, signalling the impending arrival of winter in the region.
The Meteorological Office recorded a minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius in Quetta this morning, while the maximum temperature reached 27 degrees Celsius.
The weather department has forecasted possible rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in Zhob, Barkhan, and Musakhel later this evening.
However, most districts in the province are expected to experience hot and dry weather, according to the Met Office.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain, accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers, in Punjab, the Pothohar region, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
Isolated heavy rainfall is also anticipated in Punjab, the Pothohar region, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the forecast period. INP
