Chahal has undoubtedly proved to be a significant asset to the Royals since he joined them in the 2022 edition of the T20 league. That year, the seasoned player clinched the prestigious Purple Cap as RR finished as the runners-up, narrowly missing out on the title to Gujarat in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
