Adnan Siddiqui faces backlash over comparing women to flies

Adnan Siddique compares flies to women

ISLAMABAD: Adnan Siddiqui is facing criticism for comparing flies with women during a live Ramazan transmission.

The veteran actor while making an appearance at the recent episode of ARY Digital’s Ramadan special show Shan-e-Suhoor hosted by Nida Yasir said ‘ Flies and women are the same.’

The statement from the Mere Pass Tum Ho actor has drawn some criticism.

Siddiqui was a guest on Shan-e-Suhoor with Nida Yasir, when a fly landed on his hand. When the host suggested that the fly might have been attracted to Siddiqui’s sweetness, he took the opportunity to go way overboard.

Warning that women should not mind what he was about to say, Siddiqui then said something that perhaps every woman would mind to hear.

Adnan Siddiqui later explained that when men go behind the women, they run away further, and when the man sits quietly with his hands on his hands, the women would sit on hand just like the fly.

Adnan Siddiqui added that when he was trying to catch the fly, it ran away, but as he sat still, the fly landed on his nose.

The host Nida Yasir also jokingly said that she would make it viral and she didn’t want such guests in the live program of Ramadan when the actor called Mukhi and women the same.

As the clip from the show went viral on social media, people criticized the senior actor for describing bees and women as the same and used harsh language against him.
