Beyoncé stuns at Christmas Day NFL halftime show


Beyoncé‘s halftime performance during the NFL halftime show on Christmas Day was an eagerly awaited event, with the star giving it her all.

HOUSTON: The performance by Beyoncé during the NFL halftime show on Christmas Day was an eagerly awaited event, as Baltimore Ravens took on the Houston Texans.

The performance also marked Beyoncé’s return to live stage after a four-year long hiatus.

As a testament to her star power, the halftime was dubbed, “the Beyoncé Bowl”, with her performance a meticulously  crafted spectacle that showcased her skills as a performer.

The show opened with a pre-recorded segment featuring Beyoncé in a white fur coat and cowboy hat, riding in on a white horse while her iconic single “16 Carriages” played in the background.

She then entered in a spectacular fashion  that only Beyoncé could pull off, with the singer dismounting and singing another of her hit.

She was joined on the stage by Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Brittney Spencer and Reyna Roberts.

Following the initial segment, the stunning diva then moved to a field for a live performance of the aptly named “Ya Ya”.

As the crowd watched, fully immersed, the scene changed again as her performance shifted to the bleachers, where a marching band and accompanying dancers helped add to the scene.

Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, also made an appearance, to sing “My House”.

The NFL halftime performance continued with a medley featuring “Riiverdance” and “Sweet Honey Buckiin”. The visual elements of the elements electrified the audience, with elaborate costumes and staging.

Arguably one of the most iconic moments in the history of NFL halftime performances, Beyoncé sang “Texas Hold ‘Em”.

As the performer belted out the lyrics, she addressed the audience, expressing her honour to be performing in Texas on Christmas Day.

Blue Ivy joined her mother again for the final performance, complete with line dancing.

Beyoncé was lifted into the air as the performance reached its climax. As she left the stage, a banner unfolded that read “Bang”.
