“Today we are getting the result after 20 years of working hard on this event and looking for it from all the angles. So today we have the competition, we have the hospitality, we have the entertainment, we have the gathering. So all angles, which is giving us an A-class event,” said Executive Director of the Dubai Racing Club, Mohammed Essa al-Adhab.
Juddmonte’s Laurel River won the Dubai World Cup, taking home the $12 million prize money after a runaway victory for local trainer Bhupat Seemar.
Riding under Irish jockey Tadhg O’Shea, the six-year-old son of Into Mischief took the lead right out of the gate and didn’t give it up.
