Made In Heaven 2 to be premiered on Aug 10

NEW DELHI: Highly acclaimed web series Made In Heaven is set to return with its much-awaited second season Made In Heaven 2 as the creators Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti has announced the release date.

Earlier this month, Zoya took to her social media to announce the second season, sending fans into a frenzy.

The season, set to be digitally premiered on August 10 on Amazon Prime, stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Vijay Raaz. The show also features talented addition to the cast including Mona Singh, Ishwak Singh and Trinetra Haldar.

Actor-producer Farhan Akhtar on Wednesday shared the captivating poster of the season featuring the entire cast. He wrote, “Save the date! #MadeInHeavenSeason2 releases on 10th August only on @primevideoin.”

Made In Heaven 2 will continue the riveting journey of the characters, delving deeper into their lives, struggles, and dreams, all set against the backdrop of extravagant Indian weddings.

Produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby, the series garnered international praise with its first season bagging an Emmy nomination. The season 2 has been helmed by some talented directors including  Lipstick Under My Burkha director Alankrita Shrivastava, Masaan famed Neeraj Ghaywan, Nitya Mehra, Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar, promising a seamless continuation of the fascinating storytelling.
