LOS ANGELES: Miley Cyrus is diving into her past and sharing untold stories with her fans.
The multi-talented artist announced on Instagram that she’s starting a new TikTok series that will take a retrospective look at her life, inspired by her latest single, “Used to Be Young.”
The series promises to unveil details about her journey, starting from 1992 when she was born, up to the present day.
Cyrus humorously referenced her “Hannah Montana” days, acknowledging that while many might see her life as beginning with her Disney persona, there’s much more to her story. She expressed her gratitude to fans for their support over the years, noting that their love has fueled her purpose.
The series also touches on her cinematic history, as Cyrus revisited her role in the 2009 movie “The Last Song,” where she met her former husband, Liam Hemsworth. She playfully reminisced about her teenage self during the film’s production.
In one segment of the TikTok series, Cyrus delved into her relationship with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, a country music star. She reflected on their differing experiences with fame and shared emotional insights into how their paths shaped their perspectives.
Cyrus also addressed her public feud with the late Sinéad O’Connor, admitting her regret for her past actions. She acknowledged not fully understanding O’Connor’s fragile mental state at the time, expressing empathy and growth since then.
Adding to her storytelling endeavors, Cyrus recently premiered her Hulu special, “Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions).” The artist’s willingness to openly share her experiences, both positive and challenging, offers fans a deeper connection and insight into her evolving journey.
