Rock royalty: Jon Bon Jovi’s son marries Millie Bobby Brown

LONDON: Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi confirmed that his son Jake Bongiovi tied the know with actress Millie Bobby Brown on Tuesday.

Rumours swirled online about the “Enola Holmes” star and the rock star’s son secretly tying the knot last week. Bon Jovi confirmed the wedding reports on British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) The One Show.

The rock legend described the it as a “very small family wedding” where the bride looked stunning and Jake was overjoyed.

Millie Bobbie Brown publicly disclosed Bongiovi’s proposal about a year ago. In a post on images sharing social media platform Instagram, the actress captioned a photo of them together.

“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all,” read a post along with a black-and-white image of the couple hugging. A ring is prominently visible on her finger as well.

Bon Jovi has praised his new daughter-in-law, speaking highly of Brown’s work ethic. He expressed confidence in the couple’s future together.

The wedding took place in the presence of their closest family members. Reports suggest that while a larger ceremony is planned for later in the year in the United States, the couple opted for a private legal ceremony initially.

Brown and Bongiovi’s relationship first garnered attention online in June 2021 when Bongiovi shared a photo of them together. Their engagement was announced in April 2023.

The actress and the rock star’s son made their first public appearance as a married couple in the Hamptons, where they were spotted shopping while proudly displaying their wedding bands.
