NEW YORK: Kendall Jenner’s Met Gala 2024 look was an ‘archival Givenchy gown’ that just so happened to fit her perfectly. But no one knew if it would fit, including Jenner herself.

She explained that she came across the vintage dress while researching an outfit that would fit this year’s “The Garden of Time” dress code. The glittering beaded look, which features mesh cut-outs at the hips and an Elizabethan-esque collar instantly caught her heart, but at the time, she thought it to be highly unlikely that the fashion house would have the dress available, and even if it did, would the dress even fit her.

These apprehensions were because when the dress was first made, it was only shown on a mannequin, not a model. And because it’s vintage, Jenner would not have been able to alter it, an article published in Glamour Magazine divulged.

Lucky for her, it fit her like a glove!

She paired the dress with long hair pulled back in two twists, looking like a character from the House of the Dragon come to life. Like any good model, Jenner is something of a chameleon, able to embody the girl next door, the sexy bombshell, the high-fashion alien, or the Old Hollywood glamour girl, depending on the circumstance.
