TikToker Rajab Butt gets caught up in another controversy

LAHORE: TikToker Rajab Butt has apologised to youngster Imran Shayan, after a video went viral of the TikToker assaulting the young man.

The incident happened in Lahore’s Satu Katla area, where Rajab Butt, allegedly angry over not being given way, was seen beating up Imran with the help of his companions inside a vehicle.

After the video stirred public outrage, police summoned both parties. During the proceedings, Rajab Butt apologised to Imran Shayan, saying the incident was a result of a misunderstanding.

“I sincerely apologise. What happened was unfortunate and based on confusion,” Butt reportedly told police in Imran’s presence.

Following the apology, Imran Shayan forgave Rajab, and both sides signed a reconciliation agreement.

 Police confirmed the truce after listening to their statements and halted legal proceedings against the TikToker Rajab Butt.

Being in trouble with the law is nothing new for social media sensation Rajab Butt, who has six million followers.

Earlier this year another case was registered against the TikToker for allegedly threatening TikTok star Umer Fayyaz Butt.

In another legal case, Butt admitted in January to keeping an undocumented lion cub he received as a wedding gift.

He avoided jail time by agreeing to post animal rights videos for one year, as ordered by the court.
