Tom Holland reveals exciting new details about Spider Man 4

WEB DESK: Tom Holland has the fans all excited as he discussed the progress of the highly anticipated “Spider Man 4” movie.

Tom Holland mentioned that he reviewed the draft of the Spider Man 4 script. He called it ‘excellent’, although conceding that it still needed to be refined.

Tom Holland shared his excitement about the upcoming fourth installment in the franchise. “The writers are doing a great job!”

He and co-star Zendaya engaged with the script together and shared their excitement as they found themselves “bouncing around the living room”  in enthusiasm for the project.

Earlier, the Variety reported in September that Destin Daniel Cretton was in first round of talks to direct the third sequel. If selected, he will take over from Jon Watts, who helmed the previous movie.

The British actor talked about the intricacies of creating a movie within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Holland stated that each installment served a “small cog in a large machine”.

He said that the complex narrative and multiple storylines stretching across several movies made it hard to align the overarching timeline with each successive movie in the cinematic universe.

The plot of each new movie not only needed to align with the established lore in the wider universe, but also ensure that the movie contributed properly to the broader narrative while still being a standalone story.

Balancing both is a tough job and requires a team of skilled writers who know every minute detail of the universe.

The ending of the “Spider Man: No Way Home” left Peter Parker in a precarious position, as Doctor Strange’s spell caused the world to forget his identity, including his closest friends love interest: Ned and MJ.

The unresolved conflict is expected to inform a major part of the Spider Man 4’s time.

Earlier this year, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that the story for the fourth installment in the franchise was in development. “We have big ideas for that and our writers are putting pen to paper now”.

However, the script’s progress was halted due to the writers’ strike.
