11 temporary cattle markets to be set up across Rawalpindi District

RAWALPINDI: The district administration has announced the establishment of 11 temporary cattle markets across the district for the upcoming Eidul Azha.
These cattle markets will be fully operational 10 days before Eidul Azha In Rawalpindi district.
Three cattle markets will be set up at Bhata Chowk, Al-Haram City, and Gulistan Colony.
In Rawalpindi city, one cattle market will be established at Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Sector Two, and another temporary market will be set up at Rawat.
Eidul Azha expected to be observed on June 17 in Pakistan
Gujar Khan will host two cattle markets along GT Road. In Taxila, markets will be established near New Sharif Hospital on GT Road and HIT near Sunday Bazaar, Taxila Cantonment.
In Tehsil Kallar Syedan, a temporary cattle market will be set up at Mangal Bypass, while in Kahuta, the market will be located at Sakhi Sarwar Road.
These arrangements aim to facilitate the sale and purchase of sacrificial animals, ensuring convenience for the residents ahead of the festive occasion.
