The ICCPO directed the police not to harass any labourer or street vendor. The ICCPO stressed the need to respect and protect the rights of the workers, especially women.
The woman, who was relieved to get back her balloons, thanked the ICCPO and the public for their support and kindness. She said that she was selling balloons to feed her children and did not want to trouble anyone. She hoped that such incidents would not happen again and that the police would treat the poor with dignity and compassion.
