Anwarulhaq Kakar to take oath on August 14

ISLAMABAD: Anwarulhaq Kakar will take the oath as the caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan on August 14, Pakistan’s Independence Day.

Earlier today, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and opposition leader Raja Riaz finally reached an agreement over appointing former senator Anwarul Haq Kakar as caretaker Prime Minister.

The announcement was made by Riaz during a press conference after his meeting with the PM.

A summary, in this regard, has been forwarded to President Arif Alvi for approval after Sharif’s signature.
