WEB DESK: As the new month rolls in along with a new week, Pakistan braces for a stretch of predominantly dry weather, although certain regions in the north may see a departure from this pattern.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that in the federal capital, Islamabad, and its adjacent areas, Monday promises a break from recent rains with predominantly dry conditions. However, Tuesday could bring a shift with partly cloudy skies forecasted for the evening and night hours.

Moving towards Punjab, the majority of districts are expected to remain dry on both Monday and Tuesday. Yet, locales such as Murree and Galiat, along with their surroundings, might encounter some rain and thundershowers as evening sets in on Tuesday.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa anticipates a similar dry spell in most districts on Monday. However, Tuesday could see a change in the weather narrative, particularly in areas like Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Kurram, Khyber, Shangla, and Buner, where rain and thundershowers are probable during the evening and night.

In Sindh, the heatwave is expected to persist, with dry and hot conditions projected for both Monday and Tuesday.

Balochistan, too, is poised to experience dry weather in the majority of its districts. However, residents in southern areas should remain cautious as dusty winds may prevail on Tuesday.
