Asad Umar suddenly falls ill in court room

LAHORE: Former Federal Minister Asad Umar suddenly fell ill in the court room on Tuesday morning.

He had appeared before an Anti Terrorism Court in a case related to May 9. Suddenly he fell ill while in the court room.

He was immediately shifted to Punjab Institute for Cardiology.

According to his lawyer, Asad Umer felt pain in his chest and had difficulty breathing.

According to hospital administration, tests are being conducted on Asad Umar and his blood samples have also been taken.
