Banks to open today & tomorrow for tax collection, closed on Monday

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan has announced that all of its affiliated banks will be closed for public dealing on Monday ( July 1) due to a bank holiday. However designated bank branches across the country will remain open today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday).

Designated bank branches across the country will remain opened today and tomorrow to facilitate the taxpayers in payment of Government duties and taxes, according to Radio Pakistan.

In a statement, the State Bank of Pakistan, informed that all the banks will keep their relevant branches open as per given schedule to facilitate tax payment.

Meanwhile, the State Bank of Pakistan has also announced that it will be closed for public dealing on Monday ( July 1) due to a bank holiday.

All banks, development financial institutions, and microfinance banks will remain closed for public dealings.

Despite the holiday, employees of these banks and other development financial institutions will be in attendance as usual.
