While most commuters have lauded this initiative of the ITP. But some are sceptical of such harsh punishment for illegal parking in Islamabad.

“ I parked my car on the curbside of Ufone office in Blue Area as there was no other parking spot. When I came out I was handed a fine notice and my car was impounded for three days and was told to attend traffic rules class for three days before I can get my vehicle back.”, Faisal an employee with a private firm told Hum News English.
