Broad daylight killing in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A man was shot dead in in broad daylight in sector I-8 of Islamabad on Friday morning.

According to eyewitnesses, men riding on a Hilux shot at a man driving in a car. The Injured man struggled out of his car and ran into a nearby building in sector I-8 markaz.

But the men in the Hilux caught up to the injured men and brought him out of the building and shot him dead and fled from the scene.

According to police sources, the victim has been identified as Qamar Raja, belonging to Mandi Bahauddin. The police have linked the incident to old family enmity.

Police have registered a case against the unidentified assailants and started investigations.
