ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued an order on the Capital Development Authority (CDA) cancelling allotment of plots based on an investigation by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The IHC has issued notices to both FIA and CDA seeking their response. The court also restrained the CDA from taking any adverse action on the allotted plots.
Advocate Hasnain Haider Thahim appeared before the court on behalf of the aggrieved petitioner Qaiser Ali, and pleaded that the CDA cannot cancel allotments of already allotted plots on the basis of an FIA enquiry.
He informed the court that the CDA is canceling allotment of allegedly “illegally allotted and transferred plots”.
IHC Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq has asked the FIA and CDA to submit response by January 29.
