CM Punjab announces paid internship programme for fresh graduates

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched a new initiative aimed at securing a bright future for the region’s youth. The Chief Minister’s Internship Programme (CMIP) will commence with an initial phase offering 6,000 internships.
Participants in this programme will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 25,000. The first phase of the CMIP will span six months, and preference will be given to graduates who have completed their degrees within the past two years.
To be eligible, applicants must be aged between 18 and 25 years. Successful candidates will be assigned to prominent institutions in the private sector.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif encourages the youth to take this opportunity as a step towards a promising future. She stated, “The Punjab government aims to guide our young people towards financial independence in a dignified manner.”
