COAS celebrates Eid on the Line of Control, condemns Indian aggression in Kashmir

HAJI PIR SECTOR: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Chief General Syed Asim Munir celebrated Eidul Azha with officers and soldiers on the frontlines at the Line of Control on the Haji Pir Pass.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the Army Chief offered Eid prayers alongside the troops, praying for Pakistan’s security and prosperity.

The COAS paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and appreciated the bravery of the soldiers. “As soldiers, we feel proud to celebrate Eid away from our homes and loved ones,” he remarked, highlighting their dedication.

Reiterating Pakistan’s principled stance, the army chief affirmed alignment with the United Nations’ relevant resolutions. He condemned India’s false propaganda and incitement against Pakistan, stating that false flag operations have become a political tool for India.

COAS General Asim Munir said that Pakistan has always supported peace and stability in the region and warned that any provocation or violation of territorial sovereignty would be met with an effective response.

The Army Chief also condemned Indian brutality in Occupied Kashmir, accusing India of targeting Kashmiri people through fake propaganda.
