Cold, dry weather likely to persist in most KP districts

PESHAWAR: The weather is expected to be cold and dry across most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as stated by an official from the Department of Meteorology on Sunday.

In certain districts such as Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, and Bannu, there is a likelihood of fog in the morning and evening, the official added.

The temperature in Kalam has dipped below freezing, registering at minus 4 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Office.

In Peshawar, the minimum temperature recorded at 3 degrees Celsius, with an expected maximum of 19 degrees Celsius, the official mentioned.

Similarly, other districts reported varying temperatures, including Dir at minus 2, Chitral at minus 1, Parachinar at zero, Malam Jabba at 1, and Takhtbhai at 3 degrees Celsius.
