Cold , dry weather to continue across the country

ISLAMABAD: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected to persist in most parts of the country while temperatures are expected to further dip in hilly areas during morning and night hours.

However, gusty winds are likely in plain areas.

According to the met office Islamabad and surrounding areas are expected to remain cold and dry. According to the Meteorological Department, most districts of Balochistan will experience dry and cold weather.

Murree, Galiyat, and nearby areas will also remain chilly. Severe cold weather is expected to persist in most parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, while Azad Kashmir is also likely to experience cold and dry conditions.

In Sindh, most districts are expected to have dry weather.

LEEPA VALLEY REMAINS CUT OFF

Meanwhile, due to heavy snow, Leepa Valley continues to remain cut off from the rest of the country, increasing the hardships of the locals. The administration has managed to clear 14 km of the road. Snow has been removed from Laminah to Rashian road.

While 24 km of road from Manda Kali till Mochi has been cleared with the assistance of the Pakistan Army. Due to the road closure the residents and the passengers are experiencing extreme difficulties
