Countrywide heatwave predicted, with gradual temperature rise in South


hot and dry weather

WEB DESK: On Tuesday, the weather across the country is expected to be predominantly hot and dry, with a gradual increase in daytime temperatures particularly in the southern regions.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), in Islamabad and its surrounding areas, residents can anticipate a continuation of the hot and dry conditions that have characterised recent days.

Similarly, most districts in Punjab will experience dry and hot weather. The plains of Punjab are likely to see a gradual rise in day temperatures, though Murree, Galiyat, and the surrounding areas are expected to remain dry without significant temperature changes.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also experience dry and hot weather in most of its districts on Tuesday. The conditions in Sindh will be particularly extreme, with most districts bracing for extremely hot and dry weather, and a gradual increase in daytime temperatures is forecasted for the plains.

Balochistan will not be exempt from the heat, as most districts are expected to remain hot and dry with a gradual rise in day temperatures. Kashmir will see dry weather throughout the day, and Gilgit-Baltistan will also maintain dry conditions on Tuesday.
