Educational institutes reopen after Eidul Fitr holidays

ISLAMABAD: All educational institutes across the country, excluding Chitral, re-opened on Monday after a week-long Eidul Fitr holidays.

All public and private schools had announced public holidays till April 13, 2024, to celebrate the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and the schools re-opened on April 15, 2024 (Monday).

In Punjab, public and private schools in all cities, including Lahore, started with new school timings.

The schools will start from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, whereas on Friday, the classes will be from 7:30 am to 12 pm.

SCHOOLS IN CHITRAL TO REMAIN CLOSED

Schools in upper Chitral will remain closed till April 17 due to inclement weather.

Due to intense rainfall and flooding in the rivers and nullahs the district administration has decided to close the schools for the safety of teachers and students. A notification to this effect has been issued.
