Elections 2024: Khyber Pakhtunkwa’s vote tally revealed

In the recently concluded elections for 113 provincial and 44 national assembly seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, independent candidates backed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) emerged victorious on most seats, according to the data released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
With over 8.1 million voters exercising their franchise out of a total of 21.6 million registered voters in the province, the electoral process witnessed notable participation.

The independent candidates supported by PTI clinched the highest number of votes, garnering more than 3.26 million votes across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Following closely behind was the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F), which secured the support of over 1.26 million voters province-wide, claiming the second position.
Independent candidates, with over 0.82 million votes, secured the third spot in terms of total votes received. Other prominent parties also made their mark in the electoral fray, with the Awami National Party (ANP) securing 0.71 million votes, followed by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) with 0.62 million votes.
The Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) amassed 0.55 million votes, while the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) secured 0.45 million and 0.31 million votes, respectively. Additionally, candidates representing various other parties collectively garnered over 0.24 million votes.
