
Erdogan Gifts Turkish-Made Electric Cars to PM, President

ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gifted Turkish-made electric vehicles Togg to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif as he wrapped up his visit to Pakistan.
During his visit to the Prime Minister House, Erdogan presented an electric car to Shehbaz Sharif. The premier later drove the vehicle with the Turkish president seated beside him.
Erdogan then visited the President House, where he gifted another electric vehicle to President Zardari. Aseefa Bhutto Zardari took the wheel, with Erdogan in the front seat and Zardari in the back.

Both Pakistani leaders expressed gratitude for the gesture.

The gifted vehicle, the Togg electric car, is a key product of Turkey’s automotive industry. It features fast charging, a 500-kilometer range, and advanced safety systems.
The Togg factory is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including 250 robots assisting in production.
Erdogan had previously presented a similar car to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
During the handover, Anwar drove the vehicle with Erdogan as a passenger, and their friendly exchange inside the car went viral on social media.
