Indian claims of attacks fabricated and baseless: Pakistan

pakistan rejects india propaganda

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has categorically rejected the baseless and irresponsible allegations propagated by the Indian media, accusing Pakistan of launching attacks on Pathankot, Jaisalmer, and Srinagar.

In a statement on Thursday, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said, these claims are entirely unfounded, politically motivated, and part of a reckless propaganda campaign aimed at maligning Pakistan.

FO said that the repeated pattern of leveling accusations against Pakistan without any credible investigation reflects a deliberate strategy to manufacture a pretext for aggression and to further destabilize the region.

Such actions not only further endanger regional peace but also reveal a disturbing willingness to exploit misinformation for political and military ends, it added.

“We urge the international community to take serious note of this dangerous behavior and to counsel India toward restraint and responsibility. Any escalation based on false pretenses will be met with full resolve and determination to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

FO made it clear that Pakistan remains vigilant and firmly committed to peace, but it will not be deterred by attempts to provoke, intimidate, or mislead and reserves the right to respond to acts of aggression. “These allegations are rejected in the strongest possible terms.”

F-16 safe, no attack on India, Tarar slams Indian propaganda

Earlier in the day, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar strongly rejected Indian media reports alleging Pakistani military action across the Line of Control (LoC) or international border, terming them “fabricated and baseless”.

In a statement, the minister said, “Pakistan has not carried out any strikes in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir or across the international border. These are deliberate lies to cover up India’s own failures on May 6 and 7.”

He added that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) did not suffer any loss, contrary to Indian claims of downing Pakistani F-16 and JF-17 jets. “Such falsehoods will only embarrass India further,” Tarar said, adding that India’s fake narratives are exposing its desperation.

He said India is resorting to “cowardly propaganda” after facing setbacks and wants to create a false perception of Pakistani aggression. “Our response has been purely defensive.”

The information minister urged the international community to take notice of India’s “lies and provocative behaviour,” warning that continued misinformation could escalate regional tensions.

Pakistan’s response will be loud and clear

Pakistan Army’s media wing had also denied Indian claims of Pakistani strikes in occupied Kashmir and Indian Punjab, calling the reports “fake news designed to justify continued Indian aggression against Pakistan.”

Rejecting India’s claim of a Pakistani strike in Amritsar, DG ISPR said, “It was India’s own missile that hit their installation in Amritsar. Pakistan had no involvement.”

He stressed that every Indian movement is under digital surveillance. “With modern technology, we monitor every intrusion. If Pakistan responds, it will not only be seen but heard loud and clear,” he warned.

Pakistan reserves right to self defence

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during telephonic conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday evening, stressed that Pakistan reserved the right to act in self-defense, in accordance with Article-51 of the UN Charter.

He He noted that the people of Pakistan were outraged by India’s unprovoked acts of war, and conveyed Pakistan’s strong condemnation of India’s missile and drone strikes that had led to the death of 31 civilians, injured 57 others and damaged civilian infrastructures.
