Father of Akmal brothers robbed in daylight

LAHORE: The father of famous cricketers, Kamran and Umar Akmal, was robbed of a solar system in broad daylight. A case has been registered against the theft.

The theft took place at the farmhouse of cricketers Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal’s father in Lahore’s Heer police precinct. Unknown thieves stole a solar system worth PKR 500,000 and fled.

According to reports, the thieves broke the main gate’s latch to enter the farmhouse and took off with the expensive solar system. Kamran Akmal’s father stated that the solar system was installed just a day before, but it was stolen the very next day.

Suicide bomber arrested from Lahore

Upon receiving the complaint, Heer Police reached the spot and registered a case. Officials stated that the suspects are being traced using CCTV footage and other sources.

SP Cantonment Owais Shafiq confirmed that a case has been filed on the complaint of the farmhouse coach, Kashif Mehmood. He directed SDPO Burki Ghulam Dastgir Khan to ensure the suspects are arrested at the earliest
