SCO summit: FBISE examination rescheduled

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the rescheduling of the HSSC 2nd Annual Examination paper originally set for October 16, 2024.

The exam has been rescheduled due to the declaration of public holidays in Islamabad Capital Territory and Rawalpindi District from October 14 to 16, 2024 due to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.

According to the FBISE, the exam for October 16 will now be held on November 16, 2024.

All other examination papers will proceed according to the previously announced schedule, according to the FBISE spokesperson.

The board has directed all students and institutions to download the Revised Date Sheet and Roll Number Slips from the official FBISE website: www.fbise.edu.pk.

Meanwhile, the Cambridge International Exam (CIE) will be held as scheduled. However, the students have been advised to leave one hour earlier for the exams to avoid inconvenience.

Islamabad is all set to host the SCO Council of Heads of Government meeting on October 15 and 16 with major foreign leaders to attend the event.
