FIA arrest four suspected of involvement in human trafficking in Lahore

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested four people suspected of involvement in a major human trafficking and visa fraud racket in early hours of Saturday.

According to the FIA spokesperson, the suspects had been evading capture for several years while extorting large sums of money from citizens under the guise of facilitating employment abroad. After receiving payments, the accused would reportedly go into hiding. FIA is cu5rretly investigating the group to uncover the full extent of human trafficking and visa fraud activities.

Meanwhile, Lahore’s Dolphin Squad encountered armed robbers near Alfalah Town. In an exchange of fire, two Dolphin personnel sustained injuries and were transferred to a local hospital for medical treatment.

The wconducted an operation in Jamshoro. The anti-terrorism officials arrested a terrorist affiliated with the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

A spokesperson for CTD confirmed the arrest of the terrorist, stating that the law enforcement agency want committed to combat terrorism in the region.
