Forces kill four Khawarij terrorists in Swat operation: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, in joint intelligence based operation in Swat district, killed four terrorists belonging to Fitna-Al-Khawarij, military’s media wing reported on Friday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the joint operation was conducted on Friday on on reported presence of Khawarij terrorists.

“During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged Khawarij location, resultantly four khawarij were sent to hell,” ISPR said.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khawarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as the security forces in coordination with law enforcement agencies of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, ISPR statement added.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif commended the officers and personnel of the security forces and law enforcement agencies for the successful operation against Fitna al-Khawarij in Swat district.

According to APP, he lauded the professional capabilities of the officers and personnel of the security forces and the LEAs for the killing of four terrorists.

Prime Minister Shehbaz resolved to continue fight against terrorism until it was completely eradicated from the country. “The entire nation, including me, stands by the unwavering resolve of the Pakistani armed forces to protect our beloved homeland,” he added.
