Four militants killed, three injured in KP operations: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: Security forces conducted two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunknwa, killing four Khawarij and injuring three others, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
In North Waziristan, an intelligence-based operation led to the killing of two Khawarij while two militants were killed and three wounded in Khyber district. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants, the ISPR said expressing commitment of security forces to eradicating terrorism in the region.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the forces on the success of the operations, reiterating his commitment to continuing the fight against terrorism until it was fully eliminated from the country. He said that the entire nation stands with Pakistan’s armed forces in this battle.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also praised the security forces for thwarting the militants’ nefarious designs, lauding their swift action in neutralizing four insurgents. He said that the timely response prevented further terror activities by the extremists.
