Suicide bombing kills at least 4 police officers

MIR ALI: At least four security personnel were killed from a blast that targeted a police outpost in North Waziristan on Saturday.
The suicide bombing targeted a police outpost in Mir Ali, resulting in the death of at least eight officials, as well as injuring an unspecified number of others who were promptly shifted to a hospital. The area was subsequently cordoned off by security forces.
“We pay tribute to the sacrifices of the martyred police personnel,” said Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims.
After condemning the incident, Naqvi went on to say that the young men who lost their lives fighting for peace will always be remembered.
