Four TTP militants killed in North Waziristan operation

MIRAN SHAH: Security forces eliminated four Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan, the military’s media wing reported on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched after intelligence reports confirmed the presence of militants in the area. A fierce exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the deaths of four terrorists.
Security forces recovered a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the militants’ hideout.
TTP main hurdle between Pak-Afghan relations: army chief
The ISPR stated that the TTP militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces and the targeted killings of civilians.
The military’s media wing highlighted that the operation is part of an ongoing effort to eliminate militant threats in the region.
Security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism and restoring peace in North Waziristan and surrounding areas, the ISPR said.
On Tuesday, Security forces killed eight terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
