ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is not in the custody of any institution, said Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday.
Speaking to the media after the funeral prayers of the martyred constable Abdul Hameed, the interior minister said that “Gandapur had fled the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House before the raid” of police and rangers.
Naqvi added that there were two to three more raids conducted “during the night at places where we doubted that Gandapur would be present”.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi added that had Gandapur been arrested, “there would have been video proof of his arrest”.
