Gang of mobile phone snatchers busted in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Police have busted a four-member mobile snatchers gang and recovered over two dozen cell phones, arms, and bikes from their possession.

The police launched a crackdown against mobile phone snatchers in the Faqirabad area of Peshawar on Wednesday. During the operation, four men, identified as Uzair, Shehzad, Rohail, and Waseem, were arrested.

The police recovered 26 cell phones, two motorcycles, and arms from the possession of the arrested men. They are being investigated and will be charged with multiple cases of mobile snatching.

The police have urged citizens to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities. They have also assured the public that they are committed to taking action against criminals and ensuring the safety of citizens. –INP
