Gang responsible for child sexual abuse, chid porn arrested: Police

Taxila: The Taxila police on Saturday arrested a gang for making money from the “dark web” by raping children and selling their videos on the dark web.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar, Muhammad Waqas Khan, while addressing a press conference at Taxila Police Station, revealed that two mobile phones were recovered from the arrested suspects, which were dispatched to Lahore for forensic analysis.

SP Khan stated that the suspects were enticing vulnerable children with promises of rewards.

He further mentioned that the police are currently probing the connections to an international criminal network.

The police revealed that a total of 13 children have been identified as victims of the gang’s activities so far and three children have been successfully rescued.
