Heat intensity in Islamabad to continue till May 27

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has forecasted that the intense heatwave gripping Sindh and Punjab will continue until May 23 while in Islamabad, the heat is expected to intensify until May 27.
The Met Department also predicts dusty winds in central and southern regions, while various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may experience rainfall. Additionally, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir are likely to see thunderstorms and rain.
The weather in Islamabad and surrounding areas is expected to remain hot and dry. Similarly, most districts of Balochistan will continue to experience hot and dry conditions.
No chances of heat wave in Karachi, Chief Meteorologist
The weather in Murree, Galiat, and nearby regions is also anticipated to remain dry.
In Sindh, the majority of districts will face extremely hot and dry weather conditions. Meanwhile, Swat, Malakand, and Kohistan are forecasted to receive thunderstorms and rain.
Residents are advised to take necessary precautions during this period of extreme weather.
